Croft River Runs: Terms & Conditions 1. Rental Requirements

Age: The primary renter must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 depending on your local regulations) and possess a valid government-issued photo ID.

Competency: By signing this agreement, the Renter certifies they are physically and mentally capable of operating the electric GoBoat and understand the safety instructions provided during the pre-ride briefing.

Sobriety: Operation of any watercraft under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Croft River Runs reserves the right to refuse service without refund if impairment is suspected.

2. Safety & Operation

Life Jackets: USCG-approved life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times by all passengers while the vessel is underway.

Capacity: Renters must not exceed the maximum passenger or weight capacity labeled on the vessel.

Restricted Areas: Boats must remain within the designated boundaries discussed during the safety briefing. Operation in prohibited areas or "No Wake" zones must be strictly followed.

Night Operation: Unless otherwise authorized, all rentals must be returned by sunset.

3. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Assumption of Risk: The Renter acknowledges that boating involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: collision, changing water conditions, weather, and equipment failure. The Renter voluntarily assumes all risks of personal injury, death, or property damage.

Release of Liability: The Renter agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Croft River Runs, its owners, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses arising from the use of the rental equipment.

Third Parties: The Renter is responsible for the safety and conduct of all passengers on their vessel.

4. Damage & Equipment Loss

Inspection: The Renter will inspect the boat with a staff member prior to departure. Any existing damage will be noted.

Financial Responsibility: The Renter is 100% financially responsible for any damage to the boat, motor, or equipment (including lost anchors, cushions, or life jackets) occurring during the rental period.

Security Deposit: Croft River Runs reserves the right to hold a security deposit or keep a credit card on file to cover potential damages.

5. Late Returns & Prohibited Items

Late Fees: To ensure the next guest's experience, late returns will be charged at a rate of $50 per 30 minutes.

Prohibited Items: No smoking, no pets (unless specified), and no fishing from GoBoats are permitted to ensure the cleanliness and longevity of our eco-friendly fleet.
